While every job has its unique challenges, my time as a Purchaser at American Crafts stands out as a memorable chapter for all the wrong reasons. Imagine juggling an endless list of craft supplies and trying to keep track of inventory in a sea of glitter and stickers. It was a bit like playing a never-ending game of Whack-a-Mole, but with purchase orders.

The role taught me invaluable lessons about resilience and organization, albeit in a setting where 'creative chaos' took on a whole new meaning. Despite the challenges, I managed to turn every obstacle into an opportunity for growth.

Each week I tutored anywhere from 2-6 students in Mandarin Chinese. I effectively taught character writing/reading, tones,  and speaking in casual and professional circumstances to students of all various levels of skill.

While working in the Student Records and Registration office of BYU-Idaho's campus I effectively processed transfer students college transcript's. This required a detailed entering of courses and a knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and Cisco Phones. Also a knowledge of in house computer programs such as Jenzabar, Feith and Transcript Tracker was crucial for success.
