Temporarily volunteered as a research assistant under a supervisor in the university of surrey focusing on multiple studies. Examples: Theory of Mind examining the development of emotion understanding and children's scientific theories, the benefits of gamification in video games to be used in school settings, sleep studies, etc. 

Assisted with running SPSS analysis and aiding with data collection.

I worked with the Care worker Department as a residential care worker. Most of the children that attend St Joseph’s are not able to live independently and need quite a lot of support in their everyday ventures and tasks. My job is to support their development in all areas of their lives in the residential setting. I and my colleagues work together to ensure that the young people we look after acquire helpful skills that will allow them to be included in the community as an adult; which acts as part of their family setup. My colleagues and I represent parent figures to the young people during the school days when they are away from their families. As a parent figure ensuring they are given opportunities for self-development is essential in their progress towards independence in later life as an adult.

Some of the duties I performed on a daily basis:
-Supported And Recording Sen with Daily Routines While Aiding Them to Acquiring and Develop Life Skills
-Ensuring They Are Given Opportunities for Self-Development Is Essential in Their Progress Towards Independence in Later Life as An Adult.
-Safeguarding And Link Worker Duties Which Involves Constantly Consulting with Admin, Parents, Therapists and Teachers
-Assist in Classrooms during morning weekday shifts (STA-I)
