Acting main point of contact and lead of all Alliance Manchester Business School student recruitment, progression, and welfare. In my role, I provide crucial support to senior colleagues by overseeing the work of Postgraduate Research (PGR) students and supervisors. I collaborated closely with the marketing and careers service teams to craft and execute innovative recruitment strategies, aiming to reach potential students through diverse channels. I spearheaded the development and implementation of high-quality online student marketing and recruitment activities, particularly focusing on LinkedIn campaigns, to further enhance our reach and impact in attracting prospective students.

I co-founded the Refugee Access Pilot Programme, an intervention aimed at easing the transition for students who are refugees and asylum-seekers within England, designed to address their specific needs and to integrate them more smoothly into the educational system.

In the course of developing this program, I conducted over 20 interviews with students, educators, and other stakeholders to gather insights that informed our intervention plans. I carried out 13 detailed audits of classrooms and schools. These audits were instrumental in identifying areas for improvement within existing practices and systems, enabling us to tailor our interventions to the specific needs of each educational environment.

I delivered training for school staff, focused on supporting the emotional well-being of students who are refugees and asylum-seekers. Recognising the importance of mental health support, we equipped educators with the skills and knowledge necessary to create a supportive and inclusive learning atmosphere for these vulnerable students. This resulted in a successful delivery of the full Refugee Access Programme training pack to 8 schools across the North of England.

Travelled to schools across the UK delivering presenting study skills seminars to students aged 10-18, in groups of 200+ students. Seminars comprised of research-based effective study techniques, effective exam preparation, time management and helping students change their attitude towards study through developing a growth mindset.

I Independently organised and led 30+ campus events, including meat-free food fairs, informational booths, and guest speaker sessions, to educate students about vegan lifestyles. My efforts extended to hosting and presenting 5+ seminars at various universities on behalf of MeatFreed, which significantly increased the company's mobile app downloads by 25%. Demonstrating strong leadership and organisational skills, I recruited and managed a dedicated team of volunteers for on-campus events and campaigns. Additionally, I leveraged video editing software and social media platforms to promote our content, significantly boosting engagement across several channels. 

After 5 months in the role, I was promoted to the position of Student Ambassador Coordinator, where I took charge of managing the recruitment and onboarding process for new student ambassadors.

I created and scheduled engaging content for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn). Facilitated collaboration with the content team to produce SEO-optimised blog posts and articles, enhancing website traffic.

I was responsible for managing multiple client accounts, focusing on the creation of organic social media content that aligned with the specific business objectives of each client. This involved conducting thorough audits and data analysis of social media accounts to identify areas for improvement. By leveraging insights gained from these audits, I strategised and implemented changes aimed at enhancing engagement across various platforms, including Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter.

Additionally, I played a key role in the development of paid social media advertising campaigns. This involved producing detailed design briefs and crafting compelling copy that resonated with the target audience. My responsibilities extended to creating ad sets designed to achieve a variety of objectives, such as lead generation, traffic improvement, and conversion rate optimisation.

In this role, I also I engaged in extensive research and copywriting to generate content for blogs and websites. My efforts were directed towards creating material that not only attracted general traffic but also was optimised for search engines (SEO). This extended my expertise to user experience (UX) research and design,  which informed the design strategies I developed to enhance user interaction with digital platforms. By integrating UX principles into social media strategies, I ensured that content was not only engaging but also user-centric, fostering a more intuitive and satisfying user journey across various platforms.

I was selected amongst 50,000 applicants to be a panelist for educational reform discussions in the 2019 World Youth Forum hosted by Abdel Fattah el-Sisi. I engaged with international leaders and youth advocates to forge partnerships that drove our shared mission for inclusive and innovative education forward. This spearheaded a cross-cultural educational initiative that connected over 10,000 students globally, fostering understanding and collaboration through technology-driven programs.
