Over my 18-year career, I have provided top-tier program management, customer service, and administrative support for corporate, government, and non-profit organizations. I have an aptitude for building strong client relationships through dedication to high-quality and timely communication and expert rapport-building skills. My focus in the last four years has been environmental consulting, i.e., researching and writing compliance reports. My current career goal is transitioning into the climate space. Observations and inspirations that got me here include my exceptional teachers, the reality of living in the smog of LA, seeing the hills burn above Burbank, being a resident of both major coasts and being exposed to a variety of disasters/dangers, learning about security issues influenced by climate change and environmental impacts, and seeing climate science and knowledge develop over the last two decades, screaming to policymakers for action. I am concerned with the overwhelming political polarization that has made it glaringly evident a large portion of the country and its leaders continue to push against the science, and deny our human moral responsibilities to each other and the planet, while the costly impacts and deadly consequences are ever more apparent across the globe. I am on the sidelines no longer. My primary interests in climate change include carbon dioxide removal, coastal resilience/adaptation/mitigation, and policy. Professional achievements include: • 2022 I received the Kinaole Spirit Award for exceptional employee performance. • 2020-2023 I consistently received excellent annual performance reviews (4/5 overall score each year). • While in shipping, I achieved less than 1% error rating and received accolades for customer service performance. • While in military to civilian transition support, I was the primary public point of contact for a collaborative IT training program and I coordinated 200 candidates through onboarding and received accolades for my efforts.
