In my role, I act as the creative authority on all ecommerce advertising and marketing across the entire portfolio of Pernod Ricard brands. As the second largest proprietor of wine and spirits in the world, the company has broadened its initiative to meet consumers with best-in-class advertising and marketing that delivers on the direct-to-consumer mindset. As the creative lead, I optimize and enhance brand-led campaigns as well as concept and create multi-brand campaigns from scratch. I directly oversee the work of a team of designers, copywriters, editors, and retouchers, and am hands-on with the development of campaigns with production partners, photographers, and directors.

As a creative leader on a heritage brand that is evolving and finding new ways to express itself in an ever-changing beauty landscape, I worked to push the brand forward campaign over campaign to reach our business goals in the direct-to-consumer market and digital-first marketing initiatives. My role encompassed art direction, graphic design, web design, visual merchandising, and holistic brand standards. I implemented creative brand guidelines for the first time and found ways to bridge the old Aveda with the new Aveda. I work closely with the VP of Creative, as well as VPs of Marketing and our Brand President.

Generate all brand creative for the Polo label from ideation to completion in collaboration with senior leadership. Work across company division— men’s, women’s, and children—ensuring brand consistency and innovative creative strategies. All campaigns are seen through a 360 degree marketing strategy, touching on paid and organic social media, print, ecommerce, and traditional advertising. As the company evolves, the brand creative team has been tasked with reaching new audiences, particularly Gen Z and Millennials, with dynamic new content for social platforms where our target spends their time. As a Millennial myself, I bring not only professional expertise but also personal insight into this work.

As a lead on the in-house creative team, I supported the development of specialty and men’s campaigns from the perspective of art direction and design. Both lifestyle and still life shoots were concepted by myself and my manager, executed on, and delivered in designed formats for Michael Kors channels. I was the lead creative on a massive undertaking to redevelop the digital flagship from scratch. In partnership with UX teams, merchandising, and a third-party agency, I helped mold and create the largest Michael Kors store and global brand hub. Through this work, I honed and developed my expertise on best in class ecommerce experiences and innovative branding in the digital age.

Designer on all projects for Tommy Hilfiger Global print advertising, including the Fall/Winter 2015 campaign, the Spring/Summer 2016 campaign, and two Estée Lauder fragrance campaigns. Served as a creative resource for both the executive and associate creative directors as they concepted global print, digital, and video campaigns for the TH brand, featuring Gigi Hadid and Rafael Nadal.

As the business moved from an entirely wholesale model to a freestanding brand with brick and mortar retail locations and digital flagship, I worked in an incredibly nimble and efficient design team that provided all brand creative, consisting solely of myself, a print art director, and a web art director. On this team I built the brand from the ground up, offering help to develop typographic systems, digital design, and consistency in messaging. I helped to concept and plan for national advertising shot by the late legend Peter Lindbergh, featuring top model Andreea Diaconu, set in Los Angeles’ legendary Stahl house. Not only did I learn much about how a small brand grows, I honed my eye in the contemporary fashion space.

Junior Designer

The publishing team on each magazine of the Conde Nast business was responsible for concepting and delivering branded content for additional spends from advertisers of the magazine. In essence, we acted as a small advertising agency with placements that were exclusively on GQ platforms—both print and digital. In my role, I acted as the junior member of a small and agile in-house art department servicing the sales team needs for branded content, activations, and added bonus materials. Maintained the editorial integrity of the most widely distributed men’s publication in the world, while also designing for in-book advertorials, and event collateral.

Taschen

Assisted art directors and designers in the production, and explorative design work for dozens of books that went to print. Maintained the library of loaned artwork and personal effects of subjects during their collaboration with the publishing house. Assisted on-set for still life photography to be used in published editions. Learned the core functionality of the adobe suite with expert knowledge of InDesign and layout design. The role required extreme attention to detail and a refined sense of storytelling.

I can't tell you how many times a day I look at my phone and see a brand missing an opportunity to make amazing content that they can own with authenticity. Countless businesses are struggling with the constantly evolving media landscape and subsequently shorter and shorter attention spans. It's my mission to work with brands that have a rich story to tell and are looking for a fresh creative eye to bring them up to speed.

I started my career in the publishing world, designing coffee table books and managing the artwork featured in the pages. I then jumped into advertorial content at Conde Nast, tried a traditional advertising agency, and spent years on several in-house teams in the beauty, fashion and CPG industries. Today, I have a wealth of experience that I bring to the table and all of it makes me a strong asset to solve any creative problem.
