As CEO of Burns Logistics, my role is to position our business for further growth by facilitating strong partnerships between our carrier clients and shipper partners. 

I am responsible for our day to day operations, business strategy, and company profitability. 

Our team is focused on creating a more resilient supply chain. We do this by reducing volatility in pricing and service levels in shippers' transportation networks. This is simply a matter of establishing the right carrier partners and matching freight networks so that everyone succeeds. 

I am honored to work with my dad and help him grow the company that he started when I was just a kid.

My job is to position Big Ed Burns and Burns Logistics as transportation industry thought leaders and build relationships. 

I connect trucking companies with shippers who need help getting their goods to market. 

Burns Logistics is the premier transportation sales agency focused on shipper-carrier relationships. They represent over 50 of the country’s best carriers and bring them together with small and large shippers to eliminate volatility from the supply chain. They’ve grown every year since 2008 and have won a variety of awards for their services and entrepreneurial excellence.

Melior Marketing & the Ed Burns Group focuses on marketing strategy, branding, and social media. Social media is designed to facilitate and elevate relationships, yet most businesses are failing to see ROI. We believe that needs to change.

All business growth begins with an incredible product or service and relies on the quality of relationships of the people in the business. It's about people!

Our marketing strategies and brands connect people. We love to work with visionaries, dreamers, doers - the people who are "crazy enough to believe anything is possible."

We focus on LinkedIn for our B2B clients, Facebook and Instagram for our B2C clients. We offer presentations and training sessions, individualized consulting packages, and managed services for our clients. We specialize in personal branding, organizational branding, digital marketing, inbound marketing, social media strategy, digital strategy, website design and development, and website management.

I worked primarily in marketing for several companies. This is where I initially learned about website development, graphic design, email marketing and using social media for business.

I was also involved in local political campaigns, most notably serving as campaign manager on a county-wide race.

I believe work should be fun. I think most of the world's problems, and certainly most business issues, can be solved when we just stop to ask questions and fearlessly ask for help. 

For fun, I build sandcastles. They are a wonderful analogy for what it takes to build businesses: time, effort, caring, and willingness to let go. 

I'm honored to work in the family business where I get to learn and grow every day.
