Rene Dulle, LEED Green Associate, MBA is skilled in education management and community outreach. She is serving as the Director for SLU’s Center for Environmental Education and Training (CEET). The Center is also an OSHA Training Institute Education Center, authorized by OSHA to deliver occupational safety and health training for all levels of workers. Prior to working for SLU, Rene spent 10 years at St. Louis Community College’s Workforce Solutions Group developing and managing essential workforce training programs. She led several grant-funded opportunities, building relationships with industry and community-partners, maintaining knowledge of market conditions for transportation industry, renewable energy and other green industry sectors; Rene also successfully transitioned high-demand programs from grant-funding into financially sustainable and well-respected programs at the College. As an adjunct professor, she enjoyed helping students explore global issues through an environmental lens, while completing local sustainability projects. Collaboration, team building, and managing budgets to drive successful results are her skill sets, but her goals always include tangible community benefits, such as improving health and wealth of students upon successful completion of education programs. As a consultant, she leads sustainability initiatives such as developing municipal greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions inventories and climate action plans. During the pandemic, she led an effort through OneSTL, partnering with WUSTL, to develop an 8-county St. Louis Regional GHG inventory as a tool to measure progress towards net zero emissions by the year 2050. Rene is an active member of the Missouri Gateway Green Building Council, and the OneSTL Energy & Emissions committee. She also served on the Jamestown Mall Redevelopment Advisory Committee (2022).
