I am a Resilience and Wellbeing Consultant, Master Clinical Hypnotherapist and author. I have a passion to share my simple yet highly effective tools, techniques and strategies to reduce stress and create high levels of mental resilience amongst the workforce. I particularly enjoy working with leadership and management as they are key to employee engagement, productivity and can influence a culture of resilience and mutual respect. Over the last two decades I have been providing consultancy, training and coaching to those organisations that would like to make a positive change. Such as Virgin Trains, Selfridges, Sanofi Group, Baxter Healthcare, Recipharm and Seqirus. One progressive organisation who I have partnered with for the last 10 years approached me for support with high rates of sickness absence due to stress. After just one year, their rates had gone from 8% to 0% across the site for the three years our resilience and wellbeing programmes ran. To me, it doesn’t matter who takes credit, although I will say that the senior leaders commitment and engagement was the discerning factor in that achievement. When I partner with organisations, my skill is bringing everyone into alignment, from the ‘top down’ as they say, to ensure that the language of resilience is embedded into the culture and rings out across departments. Given that we tend to become like the people we spend time with, I've made a conscious choice to surround myself with like-minded individuals who are compassionate whilst excelling at what they do.
