Skipton Building Society is a heritage financial services institution with over 1m customers. 

•	Worked alongside marketing, customer analysis and product teams, I lead the business in the delivery of products and services to prospective customers.
•	Developed strategies to reach target audiences through ‘test and learn’ activity to ensure that marketing budgets are consistently optimised.
•	Used customer analysis to improve and deliver marketing campaigns and brand messaging.
•	Management of third party media agency to plan the execution of affiliate, aggregator, online display, PPC and brand press activity.
•	Managed the end to end marketing proposition and delivery of the home insurance partnership product.
•	Acted as a marketing planning lead in the Society’s wider projects to ensure a constant flow of innovation to deliver bigger and better propositions.

UK General Insurance is a personal lines insurance product provider. Reporting to the Strategy Director, I was responsible for the creation and delivery of marketing plans and activity.

•	Conduct full mix in-house marketing activities such as corporate events, PR, content marketing, case studies, video-marketing and communications collateral. Online channels include e-campaigns, website development, PPC, social and affiliate marketing

Sopra Banking Software is a global leader in software and IT services for banks and financial institutions. 

My role was within the UK marketing division which was supported by regional marketing teams based in central Europe. My role involved: 

•	Working alongside the Head of Marketing & Communications UK across all elements of the marketing mix.
•	Creating and executing marketing plans to launch new value propositions into our key market sectors and grow business in retained accounts.
•	Development and delivery of integrated multi-channel marketing campaigns in-line with the wider Sopra Banking business and sales objectives with a strong focus on lead generation and nurturing.
•	Introduction of key account based marketing activities to enhance company awareness within key client organisations. 
•	Organising events and sponsorship opportunities to increase brand awareness in target audience demographic. 
•	Creation of customer centric product and communications collateral with design briefs to steer in-house design creation. 
•	Relationship management with marketing supporting agencies including lead generation, public relations and video-marketing.
•	Source and generate content including PR, customer case studies, white papers and thought leadership.

• Management of a large portfolio of products spanning four different technological categories.
• Delivery of marketing strategic direction to management and board of directors whilst formulating and implementing tactical marketing activities in line with the overall corporate objectives. 
• Responsibility of all UK distribution channels including management of customer relationships, product information, promotion and pricing to achieve an increase in sales opportunity. 
•  Event management of UK and international exhibitions including Medica (Germany), FIME (USA), Arab Health and Africa Health. 
• Embracing all aspects of marketing management including communications activities, CRM, product launches and market analysis.

• Liaising with the Managing Director to deliver strategic marketing plans that support  business and marketing objectives. 
• Development and delivery of marketing campaigns within lines of business including PR, advertising, direct mailings, and support materials.
• Developed, produced and maintained all marketing literature in accordance with corporate brand guidelines. 
• Monitored and fed back competitor information to the sales team and the business.
• Responsible for the maintenance of all digital communications including HTML Newsletters, SEO, Customer Relationship Management database, social media strategies and design of the Company websites. 
• Organised and delivered all corporate events including: three international exhibitions per year, seminars, conferences, training, corporate hospitality and internal staff events.

Hello! I'm Ria. I’ve worked in lots of sectors for some big and smaller brands and i’ve worked in most channels. It’s not about knowing all there is to know about SEO, PPC, social media, aggregator, affiliates, DM, EM, etc. (I do happen to know quite a bit though!) - it’s about knowing how to use them together in a way that delivers a consistent, memorable experience for your customers.
