With a background in investment banking, corporate finance, and over two decades of experience in business development, I’ve transitioned my focus to healthcare innovation. Works closely with industry groups, nonprofits and legislative organizations to promote company objectives for better political representation and economic development within local communities. Manages government affairs with state policymakers and international relations with the governments of Canada and United Kingdom, (adding Pakistan and South Korea) by year-end 2024. Engagement with chambers of commerce, industry associations, non-profits, and civil society groups to advance political agendas in region. Innovates our political technologies for the advancement of democracy globally. 

VoteOurVoice is a global, nonpartisan, voting tool that gives people greater transparency in their democracy by allowing them to grade the performance of their politicians. VoteOurVoice is a Public Benefit Corporation and our mission is to provide voters with an easy and objective way to make informed decisions about their electoral choices and hold their politicians accountable for their performance while in office. We are solving a problem that most voters have...insufficient data to evaluate politicians. Users act like elected officials by ‘voting’ on summaries of actual legislation that their particular representative voted on during the preceding four years. In this interactive web-based application, the citizen’s votes are compared to those recorded by their representatives, and the report card is generated. The report card shows how well the politician represented the individual user and also the entire voting district.

Billion4Charity aims to harness the power of millions of people who want to "do good" around the world by asking them to participate in a fun game of skill in which the proceeds will directly impact the most critical issues facing our world today, such as saving and improving the lives of the most vulnerable children, helping those affected by rare diseases, protecting our planet’s natural resources, and alleviating homelessness and poverty. Billion4Charity gives people (over the age of 18) the chance to help make a real difference, as well as the chance to win a $1 million fee as Game Ambassador!

Basically people pay $5 USD for a ticket and a chance to win $1 million and their $5 goes to charity. We are sponsoring music festivals, sporting events, and car racing events as we build a loyal following for Billion4Charity.  What have built is a platform that is noncompetitive to other nonprofits and we can help them generate more funds using our game platform.

Assessed organizational performance against both the annual budget and the long-term strategy. Developed tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational information to the CEO and made actionable recommendations on both strategy and operations. Hill Industries is a holding company established for the purpose of making business acquisitions and establishing joint venture partnerships with established industrial companies.  The company is uniquely comprised of executives with Wall Street management, finance, accounting, and legal skills.  The team has nearly $50 billion dollars of combined transactional experience which, together represents in excess of 100 years.  Hill Industries members have been involved in a broad range of industries that include construction, energy, financial management, real estate, logging, paper, shipping, technology, manufacturing and communications.  Each member has managed large groups of people within their respective organizations.  

One very important benefit to the Hill Industries team is the relationships each member brings to the group.  The company’s rolodex provides Hill Industries with access to a wealth of private investors, private equity capital, and also gives small companies access to Wall Street relationships.  Each member possesses unique talents which complement the skills and expertise of the other members.  

The Hill Industries team is comprised of members specializing in construction, finance, management/operations, accounting/tax, human resources, and legal services.   

Specialties:  Hill Industries is proficient at finding and capitalizing upon opportunities to create value that others do not recognize – opportunities to enhance revenue and reduce costs (direct and hidden) to maximize shareholder value.

Raised an aggregate of $7 million in working capital financing, and secured $35 million in new business contracts. Co-wrote legislation for the $700 billion TARP Bill covering homeowner protection guidelines to direct servicers of US government-purchased mortgages to aid homeowners. Additionally, drafted information covering: (1) asset management controls (2) including small business loans in the rescue plan; and (3) NOL vs. mark-to-market.

Intact Technology

Was responsible for managing all financial functions and government compliance for Intact, an IT services firm focused on government contracting (DoD, Treasury, IRS). Reported directly to the CEO and Board. Also held interim CEO and COB positions. Ensured the company had federal government contracting controls, administrative and reporting procedures (FAR and DFAR), and the systems in place to effectively grow the organization (Growth Rate: 200%; 218% increase in Profits; decreased WACC by 18%; increased Enterprise Value 533%). Developed and implemented annual financial budgets. Provided financial statements, cash flow management, AR and AP management, and variance analyses. Provided risk management tools and metrics.

Developed pricing and syndication strategies, negotiated term sheets and credit agreements, and developed capital markets execution strategies for structured bonds. Marketed each transaction to new and existing investors to sell each transaction. Managed the overall bank syndication and private placement process including the development of info memos, bank presentations and meetings, allocation strategies, and documentation drafting. Coordinated transaction closings. Completed $12 billion in structured transactions.

Responsible for interacting with sales forces globally, providing market commentaries, trade ideas, and trade execution. Responsible for trade settlements, marking positions, and P&L.
Governments Trader
Backed-up senior traders, activities included market making, marking positions, hedging, and settlements. Used Eurodollar and bond futures to hedge positions. Used curve, repo, and basis trades to take proprietary positions.

Emerging Markets Trader, Governments Trader, and Strategy Analyst

CBRE Group

Evaluated corporate credit and performed financial statement analyses and valuations to determine the cost of capital in the sale-leaseback market.  Used extensive financial modeling skills to structure transactions and in the development of pitch books.  Developed and implemented marketing and sales strategies.  Managed the marketing activities and tenant representations for over 1,377,000 square feet of industrial properties, which resulted in $31 million dollars in overall sales and lease consideration.
