Taking once manual tasks to give people hours or days back to focus on the value add activities. I can use Excel, VBA, PowerAutomate, SQL, Python or leverage the given CRM or ERP to push the heavy lifting away from the user and onto the system. Increasing accuracy and control whilst decreasing risk and processing time. I have hands-on experience delivering business intelligence solutions, automating processes and developing complex financial models for FTSE listed businesses (Royal Mail, M&S, Capita, Doc Martens). From an academic perspective I have an executive MBA, foundation degree in eBusiness (mobile communications, database design), Bsc in computer science (Prince2, MCP, CCNA). I spent 4 years studying economics and mathematics through the Open University, certified project manager (PMP), I am a CGMA chartered accountant (all first time passes), a PowerAutomate evangelist, an Excel guru/trainer (VBA, PowerQuery, PowerPivot), a coding enthusiast having taught myself Python and SQL. Fun fact: I taught myself Python in lockdown 1 and then taught Python to 30 kids through Zoom during lockdown 2.
