Richard has built and led international marketing and GTM teams in technology from scrappy to scale for over 25 years. He is currently Senior Vice President for Demand Gen at Verkada, reinventing physical security in the cloud. In his previous roles, he led Startup Marketing globally for AWS, built and led global field and channel marketing and in-country demand generation for Palo Alto Networks, was VP New Product Introduction and later VP Web Strategy at SAP, launched and led Industry Marketing globally for Oracle, Veritas, and Symantec, and was the US Director for Information Communications and Entertainment marketing at KPMG. He has also advised and sat on the board for startups in B2B software, services and clean tech sectors. He is a Certified Scrum Master, has a passion for entrepreneurship, innovation, and sustainable technology, and is a mediocre mandolin player.
