Hassle.com is an Accel Partners and Rocket Internet-backed start-up that provides a platform for vetted cleaners and local customers. I was responsible for Hassle.com’s customer acquisition channels, drove 20% MoM growth. 

Channels that I managed included AdWords, remarketing, Facebook, affiliate marketing, TV, OOH, door drops, street teams and partnerships.

- Optimised AdWords to increase performance after reaching the search cap. 
- Established the affiliate marketing channel, growing sales an average of 25% MoM through 2015.
- Developed the offline strategy using a multi-channel approach which included; OOH, door drops and street teams. Used a performance marketing framework in order to reduce CPAs by 75%.
- Built partnerships with companies such as Yelp, Vodafone, Zoopla, PwC and Uber.
- Successfully launched and tested Hassle.com’s first TV ad, seeing the project from concept and production through to media buying and airing. 
- Drove conversion rate optimisation using tools such as Optimizely (A/B testing), Formisimo (Form Analysis) and Hotjar (Heatmaps, Recordings, Funnels), improving conversion rate by 33%.

While I was in my City Launcher position I worked closely with the central marketing team which lead to me moving to London to join the team in a dedicated marketing role.

I was an early employee, joining Hassle.com just after their Series A investment. As City Launcher I was responsible for the overseeing and execution of the launches of the Hassle.com regional UK cities. 

- Led the Hassle.com UK roll-out, launching in Manchester, Birmingham and Leeds.
- Operations. Building provider supply, managing contractor performance, establishing marketing channels to source new cleaners. 
- Strategy. Created and refined the Hassle.com city launcher playbook.
- Marketing launches. Planning, gathering local intelligence, executing launch marketing strategies.

Manchester Entrepreneurs

Manchester Entrepreneurs was one of my strongest passions throughout university and during my time in the society we really managed to take the society to another level becoming the largest and one of the most recognised enterprise societies in the UK. 

Our hard work and ambition paid off when we were awarded Enterprise Society of the Year and Best General Society of the Year. Other highlights and achievements were creating the UK's biggest harlem shake which went viral, racking up nearly 800,000 views and the What Next conference which was the UKs largest student enterprise event.

My role consisted of creating funding sources for the society, this meant tying down deals with large corporations such as RBS and Accenture. Although, I also found myself getting involved with all aspects of the society helping to lead the organisation of events such as What Next? – the largest enterprise conference in the North West.

BA Econ Society

Being Charities Secretary for BA Econ I was responsible for raising money for our chosen charity. This meant organising and promoting events such as a large 5-a-side football tournament, a pub quiz and a poker tournament. I successfully beat my fundraising target of £1,000 and set tracks for the new secretary to continue to improve on my progress.
