I led the global Support and Sustaining Engineering organizations, with over 100 professionals solving the hardest problems in Ubuntu, the kernel, OpenStack, Kubernetes, and more -- using both code and ingenuity. Professional services include software engineering, consulting and managed services, and 24/7 enterprise support, for mission-critical workloads in multiple sectors including automotive, finance, tech, and telecom. 

•	Service delivery. Ownership over delivery all day two professional services for 100’s of Linux & Open Source based technologies to global organizations in multiple sectors including automotive, finance, software, tech, and telecom. Managed services, enterprise support, and professional services.

•	Sustaining Engineering. Lead multiple global teams of the most advanced software engineers at Canonical, that provide ongoing bug fixes and patches for Ubuntu Linux, OpenStack, Kubernetes, and hundreds of open source packages -- both upstream to open source communities, and to major clients.

•	Software Engineering. Lead multiple agile development teams, creating custom software to facilitate product and business goals. Experience as architect and product owner.

•	Cross-functional leadership. Senior leadership team member, participating and leading several strategic initiatives. Regularly collaborate with the C-suite and other department heads, and mentor for over a dozen individual contributors and managers on other teams.

•	Recruitment. Lead a team of 5 internal hiring leads, to recruit and onboard new engineers, managers, directors and other personnel this year into Support Engineering. 

•	Budget. Own and manage the departmental budget, create proforma financials and align to actuals. Approve expenditures and oversee vendor management processes.

Co-founder of a startup called Our.News, where I spearheaded the development of cutting-edge AI and ML software products and APIs that allowed individuals to fact-check any content within a minute. Oversaw the platform's design, build, and management, resulting in the creation of a global API that facilitated the programmatic determination of content authenticity. Our innovative approach led to successful partnerships with notable organizations such as the Internet Archive, RPI, Dartmouth University, the International Fact-Checking Network, and Facebook.
