Is your branded merch a memorable giveaway or cheap throwaway? Most branded merch ends up forgotten in a drawer or left in the hotel room after the event. Standing out takes more than slapping a logo on a mass-produced "tschotzke". The right piece of swag is an extension of your brand's story.
