At Essity my primary focus lies in sustainably growing our Amazon business. As an Amazon Commercial Lead I actively oversee the commercial aspects across diverse markets. As a seasoned user of Vendor Central, I ensure smooth operations and collaborate closely with global and local teams on business strategies. My aim is to not only drive profitable growth, but also to build strong, sustainable brands on Amazon. My strengths include:

At the forefront of launching our European Amazon business, I collaborated closely with various departments to establish and integrate robust processes, ensuring strict adherence to Amazon's Vendor guidelines and effectively uniting cross-functional teams towards the successful launch of our 1P venture.

Senior E-commerce Activation Manager

In this role I was responsible for growing and managing different D2C channels (webshops) in Benelux (and DACH in 2021) as well as supporting and activating online retailers and platforms together with a dedicated Sales colleague. To a wider extent often involved in digital activities.

A selection of my activities as E-Business Specialist are:

• Owner and driver of the local webshops in Benelux
• Responsible for achievement of the net sales target, for forecasting and for the allocated budget
• Responsible for proper translation of business requirements to development teams and activating (and verifying) their latest deploys correctly
• Setting up yearly plans and driving business targets for external online retailers together with Sales as well preparing customer visits
• Propose and execute yearly promotional plan, pricing strategy and assortment
• Extracting and analyzing online shopper insights and customer needs for the countries to find improvement areas using quantitative and qualitative research (GA360, Hotjar, A/B testing, Surveys etc.)
• Implementing KPIs, following up with analysis of performances and executing corrective actions where necessary
• Ensuring SEM for D2C webshops
• Managing different CMS, CRM and other platforms
• Ensuring alignment with European/country-specific legislation
• Ensuring coordination and alignment with other Business Units' E-commerce initiatives
• Participating in regional projects and also running local E-Commerce projects
• Identifying trends and translating them into opportunities to further grow E-Commerce
• Main point of contact for agencies and collaborating with them to work on different digital marketing related disciplines (SEA, SEO, CRO, E-mail Marketing, UX etc.).

E-business Specialist Benelux

Infotheek Group

Amongst others focused on implementing new functionalities, optimizing landing pages, creating content and activating marketing campaigns within the distribution division (Flex IT) of Infotheek Group across the majority of active markets ( Netherlands, Belgium, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Romania and Bulgaria.) Maneuvering between departments to coordinate all these activities to create an excellent online customer experience. In this role my main focus was keeping an overview and growing the online business in each market.

My main responsibilities in this role were:
• Managing daily operations of 7 international B2B webshops (8 figures).
• Coordinating E-commerce business goals and KPIs to international sales managers.
• In-house E-commerce consultant for related questions and new project ideas.
• Translating business requirements to technical functionalities and communicating these to the development team.
• Continuously locating opportunities and optimizing the usability of our shops using different (analytics) tools.
• Implement improvements based on different forms of research together with our front-end developers and UX Designer.
• Writing and translating blog posts, social media posts and press-releases.
• Write management summaries, marketing reports and platform requirements reports.
• Training and educating (international) colleagues in the usage of the different CMS and their functionalities. Both virtually and locally.
• Coordinating the creation of all copy, visual assets and other content with support from the Marketing department.
• Set up customized stockfeeds for our resellers and further improve the feed functionality.

E-commerce Coordinator

As Webshop Manager I was responsible for managing all commercial matters related to the e-commerce platform. I worked closely with development, category management, sales, purchasing and sales operations. I focused on increasing online sales by, externally, increasing the number of orders and the average order size and by increasing the adoption of the webshop and its benefits internally.

Amongst others my responsibilities in this role were:
• Accountable for online sales targets of several webshops (7 figures).
• All content management for our B2B webshops
• Set up yearly online marketing plans per webshop
• Rollout and evaluate online loyalty campaigns
• Creating graphics for online and print (Adobe PhotoShop)
• Creating research reports and training manuals (Adobe InDesign)
• Training colleagues in CMS functionalities
• Building custom portals for specific (education, government) customers
• Writing copy for webshops, mailings and social media
• Improving customer experience based on qualitative research (UX)
• Improving account manager experience by improving existing and adding new functionalities to the admin environment.

Webshop Manager

MediaLAB Amsterdam

MediaLABamsterdam is a creative, interdisciplinary Amsterdam based studio where students and researchers work together on innovative and interactive media research projects for Creative Industries.

MediaLAB Amsterdam conducts applied research on innovative interactive media applications together with partners from the creative industries and education. The research projects focus on urban screens, locative media, data visualization, interactive TV, gaming, the future of publishing and e-learning. At their core, the focus of all research projects is the innovative character of the digital applications.

Students work in multidisciplinary teams guided by experts from the industry and the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. These experts are a mix of designers, programmers, social/digital media experts, researchers, copywriters and storytellers. In twenty weeks (one semester) the team develops a working prototype for a client.

Project Manager / Marketeer

Adformatie

Internship that focused on the marketing of several dutch trade journals for the marketing and communication sector. (Adformatie, Tijdschrift voor Marketing, Creatie). Targeted at both advertisers and subscribers. It was also interesting to work on different platforms (websites, magazines and events). This made for a varied and widely orientated internship.

Main activities:
• Management and maintenance of our websites
• Editing and sending of several newletters (e-mail)
• Preparation of our events (website & registration)
• Evaluation of events and speakers
• Individual project: Increase publicity for the students' subscription 
• Checking in ads in our titles (together with Sales)
• Manage and update eventcalendar

• Collecting and analyzing 'click tag' data from newsletters/mailings
• Promote books that need a boost through websites, newletters, webshops and Google Adwords
• Request circulation increases for special purposes

Marketeer

KRO-NCRV

Internship at the dutch public broadcaster 'KRO', working on different marketing, communication and press-related problems. Also worked on tasks concerning internal communication, online marketing and market research (namely ratings and target groups). 

Main activities:
- Write press releases and program summaries 
- Redirect ratings into graphs and charts
- Marketing report for a new television programme
- Update the press website with new content
- Publicity for programs and their hosts by setting up fotoshoots and publishing interviews and articles in print and online
- Contactperson for the press, answering general or specific questions by phone and e-mail.

E-Business & E-Commerce specialist with experience in managing and growing online business within international organizations.
