As Director of Engineering at Everest I look after our team of 60+ Engineers in Australia, as well as our portfolio of startup clients. I particularly enjoy working with startup and innovation teams where the tight constraints on time and budget force us to create high impact quickly. I have worked in delivery and software engineering roles for more than 20 years - across agency, enterprise, startups, and public sector. I enjoy creating positive work cultures and managing and working in distributed teams across multiple timezones. I am an experienced coach, mentor, facilitator and public speaker with an interest in accessibility, inclusion, and emerging technology. I contribute to many communities as an organiser and speaker - including as the founder of the BuzzConf Technology Festival, and the Melbourne Web Meetup, and past organiser of the Australian Angular conference and Be Responsive meetups.
