In charge of Descomplica's second biggest business unit: Civil Services Exams & Certifications.
•	Managing the P&L, strategy, growth initiatives, operations, team building, marketing and product launches of the business unit.
•	Doubled the number of students in only six months, adding 10k paying students to our platform.
•	Launched hundreds of hours of new courses, two new verticals, and four new products.
•	Executed a complete revamp of the org. structure of the business unit, resulting in much more efficiency and accountability.

Itaro (www.itaro.com.br) was one of the leading online retailers in the automotive aftermarket sector in Brazil, offering 17,000 automotive products and services through an e-commerce/marketplace model.
•	As Co-founder and Partner, I played a key role in strategy, company culture, fundraising (we were backed by Astella Investimentos, one of the leading VC funds in Brazil), sales and business development.
•	As COO, I was in charge of the whole operation post client purchase. I managed the Logistics, Assortment, Purchasing and Customer Service teams (over 20 employees total) and oversaw processes amongst all teams in the company.
•	As Commercial Director, I created, built and managed all partnerships with suppliers, external sales channels and our installation partners (garages). In this role I also led our pricing and promotion strategy.

My career before E Q V I L I B R O: 

Most recently I was the COO of Credijusto (now rebranded as Covalto), one of the biggest fintechs in Mexico. In my years there I played a key role in a massive (20x) growth in the business, supported the launch of 5 products, and led the integration of fintech Credijusto with the acquired Banco Finterra, creating what is now Banco Covalto.
 
Previously I was an entrepreneur in Brazil for 7 years, where I co-founded two companies, had one exit, and became a top executive at the leading ed-tech company in the country (Descomplica). 

I started my career in Finance in New York, where I spent 3 years in one of the leading multi-family offices in the world (BBR Partners) and almost 4 years in Citi covering sectors in the Latin American region. In those years I was also awarded the CFA® designation.
