As a filmmaker, my passionate affair with the camera began at the age of 17 when I shot my first short film - 'Advitya'. An insight into the power of the Audio Visual Medium and the impact it could have on people got me snared to it for life! I made about 25 short films during my college days. These films won laurels at various film festivals (national/international) including the United Nation affiliated We Care Film Festival. I had the priviledge of being bestowed the Karmaveer Puraskaar (National Awards for Social Justice and Citizen Action) in the Documentary Films Category, in the year 2009. In 2009, I started my own Movie Production House with an aim to learn, create and deliver quality content and form long-lasting professional relationships (which are working with us even today). Over the next 6 years, we worked across 4 continents, building tie-ups across the globe. From being a Business Strategist at Office to a Spot Boy on shoots; from Editing a Film to making tea for our client meetings, I donned numerous hats in the years to come. It has been an incessant juggling act between wearing the Managers Suit to putting on the Film Makers Hat. Over the years, 'GoodFellas.Studio' has focused on creating content (branded+original) where we have worked for brands such as - IKEA, Amazon, Motorola, Lenovo, HP Computers, BIC Pens, Kraft-Heinz etc. and helped them get more than 500 million eyeballs. We have also produced 3 web-series since then garnering more than 50 million loyal viewers. Besides this, I have been awarded 6 Film Fellowships/Scholarships, which have made me travel to different countries like Japan, Turkey, Serbia etc., collaborate with some of the best potential film-making talents of different nationalities and explore the filmmaking culture there. I am a Cross-Fit Addict and a Certified Scuba Diver. I am up for a game of Poker anywhere, anytime and an experience enthusiast who has travelled to more than 35 countries and counting. I also am a part of the World Economic Forum's - Global Shapers Community (Mumbai hub) leading their efforts as a Cultural Leader to help people interpret each other and the world in a better way.
