Delivered a project for the Judiciary  Services of Ghana in Accra.

This project was called the  "E-Justice Project", and it formed part of a larger World Bank Sponsored Project called 'E-transform Project", which is a visionary project to automate the Ghanaian Government end to end...

E-Justice project will automate the Case Management / Court Management of the Judiciary Services of Ghana.

The system will be delivered on a SAP4 Hana Platform using the latest technology to support  it and enable various interfaces. The project was done on site in Ghana (Accra) and will be supported by teams in Johannesburg, Hyderabad, Cape Town and Harare.

Successfully delivered the Emergency Services Project for the Safety and Security Directorate for the City of Cape Town. 

The project is aptly called EPIC - Emergency Policing Incident Control and encompasses the citizen Call Centre for Call taking, the various Emergency Dispatch Centres for dispatching and Mobile Enable mentioned for all enforcement offices. Underlying to this is a Workforce Management Component to align employees and vehicles with incidents planned and unplanned.

It consolidates efforts and streamlines actions of Policing, Fire and Rescue and DRM Disaster Risk Management divisions within the City, making for faster responses and more efficient use of scarce resources.

Working on a number of Enterprize wide projects to improve Risk Management in the Credit, Market and Operational risk divisions.

Reported to the Group Head of Risk  Management and the Chief Risk Officer with a dotted reporting structure to the CIO. I was in charge of all  IT and the business analysts related to the  the Risk systems that was installed at the  bank. The Bank had different systems for  Credit, Market, Balance Sheet and Operational Risk Management.

The integration of the front office systems with the risk management is a vital component of the measurement of the risk exposures within the entire banking system. The definition of the  exposure aggregation, the mapping of the different products, the running and monitoring of the different front office system day end runs as well as their aggregations into the data mart was part of the daily monitoring and functions within the bank.

The production of the various  risk management reports, for the different risk stakeholders, from senior management to the external regulators.

For the Past 4 years I was involved in the Credit Risk Area of the bank. The last 2 years I worked on the complete overhaul of the existing Credit Application Solution and replaced it with a brand new solution. The modules within the solution is as follows:

1) Counterparty Management Module

3) Limit Management Module
4) Condition Management Module
5) Excess Management Module
6) Ratings Management Module
7) Facilities Management Module
8) Mitigant Management Module
9) Asset Management 
10) Template Reporting Management

Each of the modules were scoped in their entirety and was then integrated with each other in order to create a comprehensive end to end Credit Application Solutions.

Prior to these 5 years, I worked as as project manager / senior analyst on the applications for the Market Risk (RiskWatch) and Balance Sheet Risk (Risk Pro) disciplines. 

Project management and Business / Systems analysis competencies form an integral part of my offering to the greater business community. I thrive in a highly integrated environment where the banking business, technology and associated processes overlap strongly. 

I am also actively involved in the creation of new modules in the Credit Risk Applications Area,  to further enable and facilitate decision making for effective risk management across the central credit area and the disparate business units. 

I perform scoping sessions, business requirements gathering, systems design sessions as well as creation of testing data and the testing of the application itself, especially the integration components. The implementation of the final product into the Production Environment as well as into the Disaster Recovery environments.

My training involved classroom training as well as presentations given to the students to facilitate their understanding and knowledge transfer. I worked on the Market Risk system integration with the market risk managers and the technical teams. Primarily we worked on the Algorithmics product called Risk Watch and our ETL tool was the Risk Mapper product -which is deployed as part of the Risk Watch package.

Consulting for 6 month contract at Woolies HQ in Cape Town - prior to moving to Jhb. I worked on the CAISSA solution that was the Woolworths E-Commerce site. My team did the rollout of the solution to a few pilot sites to test the solution. After which the solution was rolled out branches across South Africa. The project took 6 months to complete.
