Kent State University's College of Business Professional Roundtable

The Business Professionals Roundtable is a student advisory council specifically for the College of Business at Kent State University.  It is our job to ensure that the organizations that are within the College of Business are aware of upcoming events and to network with other organizations within the college. 
Within this organization, I serve on the executive committee as the fundraising chair.  This is an elected position in which I collaborate with the local community to organize various fundraising opportunities for the organization.

Delta Sigma Pi is a co-ed professional business fraternity. This organization provides me with access to participate in professional development, networking, fundraising and community service activities. Our philanthropy is Ronald McDonald House in Akron with whom we work closely with to volunteer our time to them. We have guest speakers attend our professional development events in order to share their knowledge from the "real" work world with us and to help provide us with information that could help us in the future. 
Within this organization, I am the Business Professionals Roundtable representative. This is an elected position that requires me to be a liaison between the College of Business and the fraternity. It is important that Delta Sigma Pi and Kent State's College of Business stay in strong communication, which is a primary reason for having this position.
