To ensure that the academic records for students studying accurately reflect each student’s 
current status at the University of Auckland.
To provide administrative leadership and guidance for Faculty staff in systems, processes, 
business rules and regulations around Completion Checking functions and the production of 
official academic records documents.
Completion and Compliance Checking
• Administer the Progress to Completion Update
(PTCU) process; carrying out the entry of reassignments, 
programme discontinuation and deletion, Internal and 
Cross credit, GenEd exceptions and running the auto PTCU 
process and liaising with specialist staff to follow up
exceptions processing.
• Calculate and enter honours, distinction and 
merit milestones; run the auto-Honours process, and liaise 
with relevant stakeholders to follow up exceptions. 
• Administer the Requirements Met (RQMT) process;
running the auto-RQMT and Student Individualised Plan 
(SIP) process that locks down course enrolments to 
completed programmes processes and liaising with 
relevant stakeholder to follow up exceptions. 
• Responsible for compiling and manual migration of data 
from paper-based records and data from previous records 
systems to PeopleSoft 
• Generate official transcripts and letters for students from 
relevant databases and hard copy records 
• Ensure records for students are accurate and up to date, 
resolving or escalating issues as appropriate, particularly 
regarding multiple matriculations, course assignments, 
discontinuations and completion information.
• Manage the Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tool 
including maintenance of the orders via the output tracker.
• Create and upload certified digital documents to the Cloud 
via My eQuals

Student Records Coordinator

Unitec Institute of Technology

- Assessing student eligibility to partake in course programs
- Checking passports, visas, academic transcripts, work references, CV's for program suitability
- Admitting students into academic programs
- Liaising with students to attain required information for admission into courses
- Processing international student insurance forms
- Completing New Zealand Police Vets for international students 
- Load new student applications into the Unitec applications system (Oracle PeopleSoft)
- Ensure all applications are loaded, reviewed and authenticated in Unitec systems to enable the International Student Advisors to successfully access all applications
- Driving EFTS Acquisition - enter and review all new applications ensuring details and documents are complete, correct and valid and in accordance to requirements set by Unitec
- Manage and respond to in a professional and timely manner all student, agent and institution communications regarding student applications
- Liaise with Academic units to manage effective application processes 
-Work with the wider International team to ensure great student experiences and grow student satisfaction

International Student Administrator

Working in the International Department administering international student enrollments.

- Using Oracle Peoplesoft software to enrol students in courses
- Liaising with students about choosing their courses
- Troubleshooting Oracle Peoplesoft software errors
- Student database management
- Meeting with students and advising them on course requirements and enrolling them

Waitakere BMX Club

Managed marketing and promotion of the Waitakere BMX Club Open Day.

Developed a marketing campaign to promote the event. This included such things as flyers, posters, signage distribution plan, radio, emailing local schools, listing on event sites, digital media advertising, local papers paid versus free stories and so on.
 
Created an action plan with recommendations, taking into consideration labour costs and time available for promotion.

Integrated digital marketing into existing marketing and business strategies

Developed an understanding of the best way to use digital channels in a way that was consistent with Football Fix’s brand strategy as well as Identifying time-saving strategies

Researched digital marketing trends and found out a lot of insightful information both for my own purposes and the business’s (e.g. where on the screen is an advert going to generate the most attention from consumers). As a result, I gained a more in-depth understanding of consumer psychology and the internet as a marketing medium. 

I had to be a good self-starter as the role was not fully supervised. The skills gained from this role are very transferable to any type of competition management as they are ostensibly the same business with different products.
