I believe in the power of technology and data to improve lives. Previously at JumpYield, I built a data analytics platform for internet entrepreneurs to help grow their businesses while eliminating the need to use complicated revenue optimization strategies. My work is guided by putting the user first and creating simple, elegant user experiences. I created the Paycheck Protection Program Database https://pppdata.us as a proof of concept for how powerful and accessible government data can be when you start from a place of designing around the user. It now shows up higher in a Google search for 'PPP Data' than data.gov and the U.S. Census Bureau. Previously at Google, I expanded the user base of our advertising products by designing and building new educational tools for our clients, training our sales teams, and analyzing data to uncover our biggest opportunities to drive revenue. The foundation of my managerial philosophy is to treat people like people. It's not only the right thing to do but the best way to build effective organizations. My role as a manager is to help my team members show up authentically and unleash their full potential. I prioritize developing strengths, surfacing blind spots, removing roadblocks, and empowering people to take their own initiative.
