My academic journey in Biotechnology has equipped me with a solid foundation in molecular biology, bioinformatics, and various laboratory techniques such as DNA isolation, PCR, gel electrophoresis, and sequencing. I have gained hands-on experience in clinical documentation, clinical research, and immunological techniques like radioimmunoassay and ELISA. During my tenure as a Project Trainee at the Institute of Genetics and Hospital for Genetic Diseases, Osmania University, I conducted an extensive study on the TGF-Beta gene polymorphism in the etiology of asthma. I actively contributed to the project for 90 days and successfully completed my dissertation in 2022. Furthermore, I served as a Senior Scientific Research Writer at CBIRT (Centre of Bioinformatics Research and Technology), where I honed my scientific writing skills and contributed to various projects. I take pride in my publication in the International Journal of Novel Research and Development (IJNRD), where I authored “A Guide for younger generations to Manage the Implications of PCOS”. Additionally, I have presented my research findings at conferences and participated in poster presentations, showcasing my ability to effectively communicate complex scientific concepts to diverse audiences. Moreover, I have acquired practical skills through workshops and courses in clinical research, CRISPR/CAS9, DNA barcoding, and molecular dynamics. These experiences have not only expanded my knowledge base but have also cultivated my strong organizational and project-planning skills. My specializing subjects are Biotechnology, Molecular biology, Immunology, and Bioinformatics which have enabled a broad cross-functional knowledge base. The latest additions to my cranial curriculum are Nanotechnology and Computer-aided Drug-designing. “Over my career, I would like to see PCOS as a curable disorder.” I am a loud introvert with sound interpersonal skills. Used to be a lusty fictional reader earlier, however, a Master's in Biotechnology has made me a voracious reader of research papers.
