Senior Product Manager

LumiQ

Promoted to VP, Product as the company scaled and grew the product team to 1 PM and 2 designers. Worked with Sales to grow ARR by 125% in a year, and saw the increase in the user base to 30,000. Set product strategy and built out the roadmap to ensure high-impact growth to support the business needs.

Moved into a product role as the first product manager for the company to coordinate product needs between internal departments, clients, and users. 

Prioritized features, bugs, and engineering debt together with the development team to ensure product quality was high while delivering value to our users. 

Conducted continuous user interviews to help validate, build and polish out the core product. Built out the project management process and tooling to keep track of all issues in the product, groomed backlogs, and worked on making it all transparent to the organization.

Helped build out the product roadmap by balancing the needs of the business, engineering and ultimately the users. Worked with all departments in the organization to help drive revenue and ensure things ran smoothly during busy seasons. 

Continuously looked at and analyzed data to drive decisions, and shared insights with the organization through visualizations.

Product Manager

Came in as a team lead during a brand new pivot for Luminari towards providing CPAs with their professional development needs through podcasting, named LumiQ. At the time the company was Pre-Series A, with a total headcount of 12. 

Led the development team, consisting of two other engineers, and worked towards building the first iteration of LumiQ. I fully architected the platform, and chose each piece of the technology stack to fully support the needs of the MVP. 

I conducted weekly sprints, one on ones, fully developed the roadmap, and helped drive strategy. Worked with the departments to fully understand the needs of the business, and participated in continuous user research to help understand what users wanted. 

Worked on migrating the legacy platforms onto Docker/Kubernetes, deploying in Google Cloud and rewriting REST APIs over into GraphQL.

Lead Developer

Primarily dove into the core LMS ASP.NET codebase, helping support various integrations with live video streaming (Capture), Office 365, and SCORM. Began to touch C++ within QT by working on live streaming, and various features requested by users.

Senior Software Developer

Worked on enabling students from grades K-6 to upload in class projects for their educational portfolios that allowed them to bring their work to future grades for review. The app also gave insight to the projects done in class to parents by having a support parental dashboard which showcased their child's work. 

Used a Serverless architecture for the backend written in Node.JS all hosted on AWS, primarily React/Redux and SASS on the front end packaged in Webpack.

Intermediate Software Developer

Focused on video streaming, recording and transcoding of educational lectures to students from desktop to the web. 

Supported the team by owning and upgrading legacy systems, triaging and squashing bugs, and deployments.
