First ask yourself: What type of boss do you have?

• How much do they negatively impact you?
• Are they willing to change?
• How do they receive feedback?

Then, if you decide to stay, ask yourself: 

• Will you stay and change nothing?
• Will you set boundaries or ask for what you need from your boss?
• Will you be planning your exit, internal transfer or using medical leave?
• Will you report your boss to HR or 3rd party?

If you decide to leave, ask yourself:

• When will you be leaving?
• What is your exit plan?
• What is your financial, family and/or personal situation and how does that affect your choice?
