I was a paramedic for 35 years and taught paramedics for close to 34 years. After integrating virtual reality into our paramedic program...long story...I transitioned to my current role as Immersive Technology Manager to help faculty and programs explore and integrate immersive technologies (e.g. virtual, augmented, mixed reality and artificial intelligence) into curricula. Georgian is currently one of the world leaders in XR exploration and integration, with pilots across multiple disciplines, VR integration in some programs, hundreds of VR headsets, some deployed for distance learning, and mixed VR/classroom labs at several campuses.
