I am a leader in a startup organisation with a dual remit to drive the business strategy and mature and rationalise the operational function. I have established the operations department, including redesigning structures and processes to align with the business strategy and increase commercial performance.

I lead compliance with all applicable regulations and directed the entry into service of new aircraft types and approvals for Low Visibility Operations and Electronic Flight Bags to increase commercial versatility and operational resilience. 

Most recently, I have guided the airline through the cessation and resumption of services due to Covid-19.

I led a large dispersed team of pilots and crew across Europe. I created and executed the flight operation strategy, streamlined OCC procedures, and implemented new Crew Procedures. 

During this time, the company acquired a new airline and 10 other aircraft, and I motivated the teams to work at pace, without sacrificing quality, to manage the changes.

General Manager Flight Operations

My remit was to establish and manage a new operation for recently acquired clients, leading a team of 180.

I successfully managed the complex and highly regulated Entry into Service (EIS) of 12 aircraft including, budgets, flight operations, cabin services, engineering, maintenance, regulatory certifications, staff training and communications

CityJet Nordic Operations Manager

I managed a team, of pilots, including their recruitment, training, performance management and delivered a range of financial, safety and quality KPIs.

Training both new FO’s and Captains to line operational flying including the challenging task of training in the London TMA and into London City Airport (cat C airfield). Carrying out line Checks to ensure high standard and adherence to SOPs.

Line Training Captain

Managing the flight crew for between 3 and 5 aircraft. Ensuring smooth operations and maintaining motivation and high morale. Solving issues relating to morale, uniform, commuting, and pay. Started process for setting up of the UK working council. In addition ensuring good relations and compliance between the airline and the Airport operator and NATS (ATC provider).
