The Junior Sailing Program Director is a pivotal role at our sailing club, responsible for overseeing and enriching the junior sailing program. This position demands a unique combination of leadership, passion for sailing, and a strong commitment to youth development.

~Program Development and Management: Develop, implement, and oversee a comprehensive junior sailing program that caters to various skill levels, from beginners to competitive racers. Ensure the program is fun, educational, and safe, in line with the club’s objectives and sailing standards.

~Staff Management: Hire, train, and supervise sailing instructors and support staff. Ensure all instructors are adequately trained and adhere to safety protocols and teaching standards.

~Safety Oversight: Prioritize safety at all times. Implement and enforce safety procedures and protocols. Ensure all equipment, including boats and safety gear, is properly maintained and safe to use.

~Parent and Community Engagement: Act as a primary liaison with parents and the local community. Communicate effectively about program developments, sailor progress, and club events. Encourage community involvement and support for the program.

~Regatta Organization: Organize and facilitate participation in local, regional, and national regattas, including logistics, travel arrangements, and team support.

~Budget Management: Manage the program’s budget effectively. This includes overseeing program fees, fundraising efforts, and budgeting for equipment and staff.

Multi-year contract as Program Manager for Avangrid's Distribution and Transmission deficiency mitigation. The Deficiency Mitigation program is a multi-year program to eliminate Avangrid’s Distribution and Transmission line inspection deficiencies throughout NY State. As Program Manager I developed a work plan for NYSEG and RGE West Zone that integrated the Distribution and Transmission deficiency’s with all other West Zone programs i.e. (Customer, Betterment, Street Lighting, LED, IPP / Solar, DOT, Distribution Automation and Major Projects).

I Joined the NSBA Leadership Council as part of my efforts to tackle the many critical issues facing small business, including tax reform, regulatory restraint, health care costs and how the Affordable Care Act will impact small business. The NSBA Leadership Council is focused on providing valuable networking between small-business advocates from across the country while ensuring small business a seat at the table as Congress and regulators take up key small-business proposals.

to regulatory reform, including the SBA Office of Advocacy, the Paperwork Reduction Act

National Regulatory Budget. This committee also deals with issues related to energy and
the environment such as energy costs and efficiency, the Clean Air Act and fostering clean
technology.

with health care and employee benefits, including the Patient Protection and Affordable
Care Act, health benefits taxation, medical malpractice, health savings accounts and more.

union relations to the Family Medical Leave Act, retirement issues to immigration, and
minimum wage to unemployment insurance.

initiatives and international trade, and also handles innovation and technology issues such
as patent reform.

NSBA’s Taxation Committee oversees everything involving federal taxes and the IRS,
including expensing, broad tax reform, the Fair Tax, and federal budgetary issues. The
committee has played an integral role in some key tax changes in the past several years,
including repeal of the burdensome 1099 reporting provision, temporary elimination of the
self-employment tax on health care and reforming the estate tax.

LTTIP is a multi-year program to repair , improve and replace First Energy’s Distribution System. As Program Manager I work with First Energy’s engineering department to identify what portions of the 2018 program were behind schedule and over budget. Once identified I developed a master schedule and budgeting for the remainder of 2018 and 2019.

As Project Manager I worked with AVANGRID’s system planning to identify the project's objectives, scope, constraints and developed the project charter. Once complete I developed the project management plan that integrated engineering, environmental, permitting, procurement, regulatory approvals, risks, communications, resources & responsibilities, scheduling, construction and project controls, facilitated and coordinated the conceptual design to ensure that multi-discipline engineering and design activities were completed in accordance with the project scope, schedule and cost, facilitated and coordinated detailed design RFP, Major Equipment RFP’s and regulatory approval for 21 substation assets across eastern Maine.

T-LEM is a multiyear program that will upgrade the Authority’s existing transmission system to maintain availability, increase reliability and ensure regulatory compliance.  The Program encompasses NYPA transmission assets in the Central, Northern, and Western regions and has been divided into several projects.  The Program is estimated to cost $726 million and includes
Upgrades, refurbishments, and replacements associated with switchyards and substations.
