Hello, I'm Robert Dale Smith, a lifelong technophile and tinkerer. I have been working as a full-stack software engineer doing web development for well over a decade now. Ever since teaching myself HTML as a young kid, I have been passionate about crafting pixel perfect frontends and highly scalable back-end web apps. I started my career off repairing computers and building websites for local business when I was barely a teenager. Not wanting to just fix computers, but rather wanting to contribute to building the future, I went back to school to study computer science in 2010. While at the university I discovered the local startup community and I have been obsessed with launching new ideas and working with small teams ever since then. Over the last couple of years though, I have taken a deep dive into embedded software development, 3d modeling/printing, and PCB circuit design to create my own line of unique physical products.
