RocketPhone is a Voice Intelligence platform for enterprise. As CPO I was responsible for all aspects of the product function including product and platform strategy, product management, user research, R&D and product design.

Semafor

Semafor was a User Experience design and digital innovation agency I founded to focus on working with CEOs and CTOs undertaking technically challenging projects in requirement of product leadership and human centred design in order to achieve product market fit and ongoing commercial success.

Notable clients include Accanto Systems, an AI driven virtual infrastructure orchestration platform acquired by IBM, Emitwise, a London based silicon Valley backed Carbon Accounting AI platform, and Aphex, a highly innovative and successful construction planning tool currently in use all around the world. 

VoiceIQ (now RocketPhone), an innovative Voice + AI platform built for the Salesforce cloud, was also a client which I eventually joined as CPO.

Fresh Consulting

Fresh Consulting is a multi-award winning strategy, design, software, and hardware innovation company with offices in Seattle, Portland, Austin, Costa Rica and Bangkok. 

As Consulting Lead I led cross functional teams on a number of large scale digital design and innovation projects in property, banking, security and SaaS. Projects took me to the US, UK, EU and Caribbean. Highlights include taking a human centred design approach to rebuilding banking applications for the Caribbean's largest bank, reimagining invoicing and business intelligence for the world's largest property broker and transforming global property portfolio management through digital tools.

Invent Value

Invent Value is Fresh Consulting's proprietary Innovation platform used by Microsoft, CBRE, T-Mobile and a host of other blue chip companies in conjunction with Fresh Consulting's innovation consulting services. Based on various innovation frameworks and practices such as the Brain Swarming method featured in the HBR, the platform empowers corporate teams to generate innovative solutions to strategic and business challenges.

For this project I led product vision, UX design and development with a remote team based across Seattle, London and Bangkok. In the first year we focused on reliability and scalability, transforming an innovative MVP into a robust and deployable SaaS platform used commercially within some of Seattle's most famous organisations. 

Over the next 2 years I oversaw a large increase in high value features introducing a survey platform and business intelligence capabilities, as well as a further performance increase. As the product lead I introduced an agile process continuously improving velocity and quality over time.

Senior Product Manager

Vennli

Vennli is SaaS platform for automating user and customer survey based research and creating a growth strategy. As the first non-engineering employee I was instrumental in designing the UX, which was largely based on the research process I had designed at Festool, as well as writing the choice mapping algorithm that visualises the data. I also wrote the US patent and built the financial model that helped secure $700K from the South Bend IRF as well as high seven figure amount in series A funding.

As the product manager I ran a scrum team of 5 devs, a QA and a UI designer. I was responsible for gathering user and business requirements and turning those into a UX strategy and architecture. I worked quite deeply in on site business growth consulting roles with early customers such as BMW and First Source Bank.

Festool USA

Festool is a brand of high end power tools from Germany operating in 26 countries with a  global workforce of 2,700. A leader in innovation, Festool invented the chainsaw and plungesaw and is the owner of the Sawstop table saw and Shaper, the handheld digital CNC machine. 

I ran a number of user research campaigns focused on professional power tool users in the USA. Gathering data from 10K+ survey respondents, multiple focus groups and 100s of in-person interviews, our insights helped shape growth strategy, warranty structure and product design.
