It gives you near real-time tracking capability on engagement and lets you know exactly who the person is, from their name, email address, phone number, location, job role and company - fully GDPR compliant.

Founder and Owner

My top achievements to date:
1. I set up the ecommerce platform to market BSI ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Transition Seminars.
I took a holistic view of the customer journey from initial first contact right through to payment completion considering every touchpoint from notifications to how transactions were handled. Throughout the whole process I dealt with different parts of the business working closely with our finance team to ensure that the payment accounts were correctly set up and linked to BSI, that administrators of the system would have the right permission levels for access to manage the store. I installed a reporting app to automate transaction data and then to send it to the correct members of staff at set times. I did the same with an invoicing app to ensure that full VAT invoices were automatically sent out to purchasers upon transaction completion. I learnt how PayPal integrates with ecommerce systems and how it manages EU payments.

2. I set up the ecommerce system that takes payment for our Citrix GoToTraining (GTT) platform. This involved linking PayPal to handle the transaction however PayPal could not send out the invoices automatically. I created automation to manage this with a third party API handler to transfer data from GTT to create a contact and then another automated sequence to send a specific VAT invoice template that had a unique number to every contact and is an HMRC requirement. 

3. I produced YouTube Ads for BSI's medical devices business. The ads were developed in-house and were used to drive traffic to automated Pardot forms that captured viewers data and sent it to Salesforce as leads for sales teams to contact. I discovered that YouTube ads were substantially cheaper to run in comparison to Adwords and outperformed it on ROI:

4. I am developing iOS and Android Apps and voice technologies for BSI internal and external customers.

IATF have approved the update to the IATF Rules for Achieving and Maintaining IATF Recognition. These changes will be published as the “Rules for achieving and maintaining IATF recognition”, 6th Edition.

Today is Day 3 of Google Cloud Next' 24, and there have been several announcements on Generative AI.  I'm particularly excited about three key developments:

1. Vertex AI now offers access to over 130 enterprise-grade models, including the Gemini 1.0 and 1.5 Pro, Claude 3, and a range of Hugging Face and Kaggle models. Further, deploying state-of-the-art Hugging Face open-source models directly within Vertex AI is now just a few clicks to simplifying the deployment process.

2. Grounding models in Google Search, giving customers access to the combined power of Google’s latest foundation models and access to fresh, high-quality information. This feature is in Public Preview, and provides source links and suggested searches to verify the response. 

3. MLOps for Gen AI expanding with Prompt Management and Evaluation: Vertex AI Prompt Management, now in preview, including versioning, sharing notes and the option to restore old prompts. Users can compare prompt iterations side by side to assess how small changes impact outputs. 

On evaluation, AutoSxS is now generally available, and helps users to compare the performance of two models, including explanations for why one model outperforms another and certainty scores that help users understand the accuracy of an evaluation. Check out the demo of AutoSxS in the post.

We've got our work cut out for us these next few months, but bring it on! Don't get me wrong, managing 120 videos is a beast of a project…

But here's the secret weapon: a project management system we built from scratch with AppSheet! This bad boy keeps our deadlines, budgets, and team all beautifully aligned.

Here's what I've learned (the hard way sometimes) about media production project management:

💡Planning is King (or Queen): Scripting, storyboarding, scheduling – every detail, from permits to rental gear, needs a plan. A detailed one!

💡Creativity is key: Don't be afraid to get scrappy and find solutions. "Expect the best, plan for the worst, and prepare to be surprised." - Denis Waitley (This keeps you adaptable!)

💡Teamwork Makes the Dream Work (Literally): Building a talented crew and fostering clear communication is everything. When everyone understands their role and can collaborate effectively, magic happens! ✨ "The key to successful leadership today is influence, not authority." - Kenneth Blanchard (Think inspiration, not intimidation!)
