As an experienced Sales, Business Development, and Marketing Leader, I lead teams to success, aligning them with both long-term and immediate goals. My professional journey is marked by influential positions in the hospitality industry, including Director of Sales & Marketing for The Westin Edmonton, the city’s largest hotel, starting from January 2020. This prominent role at the Westin featured oversight of 416 guest rooms and 27,000 sq. feet of meeting space. Additionally, in a unique career highlight, I was appointed as Director of Business Development for Fantasyland Hotel with 355 guest rooms. This role was specifically created by key leadership to bring me on board, entrusting me with the comprehensive management of Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management, and Business Development for their two hotels and two restaurants. Collaborating closely with the Attractions Division at the Mall, we effectively harnessed synergies to generate new revenue stream opportunities. In my dynamic career, I’ve been privileged to play pivotal roles in launching several landmark hotels, setting industry standards across Canada. In 2014, I was instrumental in the debut of two major Hilton properties in Edmonton: the DoubleTree by Hilton, marking its first introduction in Alberta, and the Home2 Suites by Hilton, Canada’s first Home2 Suites brand in Canada. More recently, in January 2024, I was part of the Regional Team representing Hotel Equites and the successful launch of the Moxy Downtown Halifax, establishing a new milestone as the first Moxy hotel in Canada. I have advanced skills in artificial intelligence and design tools, including ChatGPT, Midjourney, Dall•E and Canva. This expertise allows me to blend AI and design into my marketing and sales strategies, bringing innovative and efficient solutions to the modern business landscape.
