I am closely involved with our client’s senior leadership to understand and help them meet their short and long-term goals through the facilitation of project and roadmap planning. I've been closely involved with clients such as CNN, AMC, Arby’s, Capital One, Pulte Homes, Lowe’s, Secureworks, Ruth’s Chris and Turner.

I am also responsible for a team of 20+ engineers that include front and back end developers and QA Engineers that love what they do, and create amazing products.

Through Continuous Delivery, increase product release frequency to deliver features and bug fixes faster, providing the business with quicker feedback, increased customer base and revenue. Lower client cost of delivery and improve release plan forecasting through a data-driven approach, by gathering and analyzing key metrics such as business value delivered, cycle time, throughput, and velocity, to teams across multiple business areas. Work with the Business Owners to control the scope and define a Minimum Viable Product (MVP). Establish team processes while building cross-functional and cross-organizational synergy. Encourage value-add and remove non-value-add activities to promote team morale, communication and cohesion. Create and mature a team of company-wide Agile Coaches, ScrumMasters, and Agile Champions through coaching and one-on-one mentoring. Teach Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and XP practices, including Test Driven Development(TDD), Acceptance Test Driven Development(ATDD), refactoring, story writing and mapping. Sponsor, participate and speak at public Agile events.

As the Technical Lead for The Cancer Genome Atlas I was the architect of a project that was the cornerstone of cancer research at NIH that comprised a 100TB dataset of cancer genome data, in a highly scalable set of Java applications, for real-time processing, validation, and dissemination of cancer sequencing data for 26 different cancer types. I lead, hired, mentored and trained a 26 person development team in Scrum and XP methodologies including: Test Driven Development (TDD), Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD), and Pair Programming. Implemented Continuous Integration processes to enable quick iterative delivery of the product. Organized a value-based release backlog along with the Product Owners.
