This is a voluntary, employees led council designed to drive the organisational mission and be the voice of the EMEA workforce. Standing shoulder to shoulder with executive leadership we are mission critical to the business and are acting as agents for change. 
 
● Ensure reasonable and attainable goals for the time allotted during meetings
● Review and approve agenda for EMEA Inclusion & Belonging Council meetings
● Serve as the main point of contact with the leadership team
● Review, approve and ensure accountability of EMEA Inclusion & Belonging Council
action plans
● Serve as a member of the Employee Resource Circle (ERC) Leadership Committee
(meets bi-monthly)
● Communicate challenges and opportunities experienced by ERGs to EMEA Inclusion &
Belonging Council and recommend solutions
● Will attend periodic Employee Resource Circle Leaders Meetings

This is me 23 miles into a marathon. 

I honestly thought I couldn't go on (I don't even remember being in this photo). Although I “only” had 5K left to go, after 23 miles, it felt like the steepest climb of my life 🗻 

That’s exactly what this point in the year feels like at work.  Most people aren’t sprinting past the finish line at this stage in the year. They’re crawling, hustling, running on fumes. OR some have smashed their quota but still feel empty, unfulfilled... 🏃‍♀️ 

Performance at this point isn’t about applying more gas. It’s about finding that inner rhythm & clarity that keeps you moving forward when motivation dwindles. Staying steady when everything in you wants to stop 🛑 

Trust me, I've been there.

So if you’re feeling the strain at the last few miles of the year, remember: you’re closer than you think.

Ok, thats a lot of networking. 

But that's EXACTLY what happened on Friday evening at The Everybody Networks Here Event. Big shout out to Martijn Koekkoek for bringing this initiative to London 🫶 

I've been to loads of events before, but this one felt different. I walked into a room full of genuinely curious, kind and talented people from all walks of life & companies just wanting to grow & connect. Thank you to Alicia Teltz for the amazing keynote about growing your Brand using Linkedin 🙌 

What a privilege to meet & connect with talent from Google, TikTok, Marriott to name a few and to find out how much we all have in common, regardless of our backgrounds. Truly inspiring and love to see everyone cheering for each other. The world NEEDS MORE OF THIS 🌍

Everything feels so fake & orchestrated these days.

We’re told that if you want to find new clients, you should “comment on their posts,” “like their content,” and “open your emails with a hook that reels them in.”

Sure, visibility matters. Engagement matters.

But only if it’s REAL.

Over the last few weeks, I have had people liking my posts in quick succession, on LinkedIn and other socials. And it made me stop and wonder…

🤔Do you genuinely enjoy the content?
🤨Or are you liking it so your name shows up?
✅To tick the engagement box?
⏳To game the algorithm?

There’s nothing wrong with wanting to be seen, we all want that. I WANT THAT. 
But somewhere along the way, we started faking connection instead of feeling it.

You can tell when it’s genuine.
You can feel when it’s not.

We don’t need more orchestrated interaction.
We need real ones, built on shared values, curiosity, and genuine interest.

🛑Maybe it’s time to stop “networking” and start connecting.
