I'm a mechanical engineer with a PhD degree in the metrology field. My main interest is to improve the quality of the production, both in terms of machining and subsequent use of components in machines and equipment. For this purpose, I'm working on innovative methods of surface treatment, together with surface integrity analysis methods (topography, main and residual stresses, mechanical properties, etc.). I develop also data analysis methods coming from many sensors in the manufacturing processes. All these elements are an unbreakable part of Industry Revolution 5.0. In my scientific activity I deal particularly with: - industrial metrology - precision machining processes (subtractive, additive, hybrid), - surface integrity and topography metrology using various measurement methods, - modelling and simulation of the processes, - engineering calculations and data analysis. A big part of my work is managing projects of different sizes. I currently coordinate Precision Engineering and Metrology team at #kth, within the Manufacturing and Metrology systems Unit. I have very long experience in: - dividing complex objectives into smaller, actionable, and doable tasks, - communicating needs, - giving constructive feedback, - challenging myself.
