eLearnCommerce is a WordPress plugin for the eLearning Industry niche, with a focus of features for marketers / coaches / instructors.

I’ve started working on the product since the 1.3 release and there’s been an numerous amount of features and improvements added, version 1.3 started with a refactoring and 2.0 of the version also includes a full refactoring, which aims to make the application the first WordPress solutions that handles everything on the frontend, trough JS and relies on API features to provide a full experience.

Compared to it’s competitors eLearnCommerce was faster & more performant even in 1.x, and this changes dramatically in 2.0 because of all the processing that happens on the frontend. 

It’s the only WP LMS solutions that supports multiple course types on the frontend trough different architectures, in short the student experience can be : 

- 1 page SOP style 
- Lesson Centered
- Chapter / Section Centered
- One-Off Experience of 1 Lessons as the content ( the only LMS that has this which also has lessons )

The plugin also has multiple integrations for various other plugins, and over the years I’ve reduced the code which a membership integration would use from 300 lines to 50 lines, while providing the same feature set & even better compatibility between them. 

The LMS also has 4 modules that heavily extended the functionality : 
- Personalized Learning
- Sales Engine
- Knowledge Broadcaster 
- Team Training.

Team Training allowed teams to have an excel like experience to track their KPI’s and measure progress, everything happened in the background and it respected ISO standards of automatically determining dates & calculating if goals are met and the team is progressing, if certain goals were not met, training was automatically recommended for a certain timespan.
