In 2001 I started with graphic & print design for small businesses, eventually working for a few startups and initially self-taught in web design and development. In 2005 I made the decision to go to college where I earned an A.A.S. in Graphic Design and a B.A.S. in Multimedia Design with an emphasis on Web Design & Development. From there I worked for a few more startups everything from eCommerce for Automotive Accessories to UI/UX Design for Social Networks, in 2008 I landed a job as a Senior Web Designer/Developer at the San Diego Union-Tribune where I stayed until January of 2012. Pivoted into a very successful SaaS that specializes in the WordPress real estate niche providing industry-leading IDX websites, CRM, and tech tools for agents and brokers to increase lead conversion. https://contempothemes.com Background in WordPress I started tinkering and reverse-engineering the original Kubrick theme for WordPress way back in 2005 and built a few small sites based on that old classic. That lead me to design & develop my first premium WordPress theme for the real estate market which I uploaded to Themeforest in Dec 2008. Now I'm not a one-trick pony I've also designed and developed many, many custom sites for clients from all over the world in all kinds of industries. Those jobs range from small mom-and-pop shops all the way up to multi-million dollar corporations.
