Supporting a newly established company I have been contracted to build a new division by recruiting, structuring and developing reporting lines of the marketing department and its team members.
I have developed marketing strategies for 6 business units including cafes, hotel restaurants, coffee roastery, catering, baked goods, and multiple cloud kitchens across the UAE market.
Through this, I have also created and launched 15 new go-to marketing brands within 4 months.

Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer with a dotted line to the CEO, I was heavily involved in leading the positioning and story-telling of the Emaar brand.

A major part of my involvement was the conceptualisation and execution of launching properties in Dubai across all communities. I took sole ownership of each project working in parallel across all departments within the business.

My content creation was a key asset to the organization as I truly instilled my marketing principles of understanding the audience and communicating a relatable story.

My key successes were evolving the brand digitally and introducing and implementing new technologies to really enhance the brand equity and sales funnel conversion. As my experience grew, so did my exposure as the work was extended to our China showrooms and recognised internationally with an FWA award.

Concept Eight

A rare opportunity to experience, I was head of a key department with a direct reporting line to a wonderful CEO and Shareholders.

I had a great mentor that really pushed me and wished for my success. With such an encouraging environment I was able to flourish and really evolve the brands across the group.

My skills in developing a brand identity and new product development grew immensely as I lead a team to drive change through innovation. 
Through social campaigns, new menu ideas, digital integration through the POS system and partnerships, profits increased month on month by 7%.

The key skillset learnt here was consistency and cohesiveness of communication and execution. Results came from the ability to make mistakes, learn and evolve fast.

As my CEO used to say to me “I give you permission to fail”.

Head of the digital department responsible for strategic implementation of digital projects. From inception to launch.

Working closely with clients to integrate a digital presence in their marketing communication plans across all digital touch points.

Strategic management of social accounts to integrate with creative and PR department incorporating digital PR, blogger outreach, event management and use of the latest technology to increase online engagement.

Management of website development and mobile application projects from UX to design to build.

Oversee media plans, produced by media buying team to ensure the most effective targeted mediums are used and client objectives are met.

MENA Digital Account Director

DigitasLBi MENA

Report directly to the Managing Director and Global Chief Marketing Officer.

Initially working in client services and merged into marketing role as the first correspondent in MENA. Working with clients such as EMAAR, Johnson & Johnson, TDIC & NYUAD.

Responsible for all social channels strategy, planning and execution. Incorporating consistent messaging across all platforms and content strategy for desired audience.

Set up of blogging platform and develop editorial calendar across agency.

Develop relationship with PR to publish articles positioning DigitasLBi as thought leaders and ultimate business leaders to increase brand awareness.

Manage local compliance with visual brand standards, written messaging, event standards, advertising standards – working closely with creative department to ensure these were met.

Developed and executed regional bi monthly event of a Digital Academy to educate the wider UAE audience of digital trends.

Responsible for co-ordinating award submissions with each department.

Developing strategy to target verticals in co-ordination with producing whitepapers positioning DigitasLBi as industry leaders.

Producing case studies for key clients (Emaar, Jumeirah, Mastercard & Johnson&Johnson) to position DigitasLBi as experts and digital innovators.

Report to VP of Marketing and National Operations Manager

First Marketing correspondent within Australia. Keeping consistency with all marketing communications at headquarters in NZ and USA to deliver against the regional & global marketing strategy.

Lead role in conceiving, framing and delivering local marketing initiatives – such as partner programs, brand development, and horizontal initiatives.

Manage local compliance with visual brand standards, written messaging, event standards, advertising standards – working closely with the respective marketing department owners

Produce annual marketing plan establishing key milestones, stakeholders, accountabilities and planned metrics against which to deliver
