I am a Senior Real Estate Asset Management Leader, with a strong strategic and commercial focus, building board-level partnerships to optimise global portfolios (>$10BN+) in major, high-profile organisations. Now actively seeking either interim or permanent roles, either in or near London, or potentially abroad. My previous role was as Deputy Director, London at the Government Property Agency, a fast-growing executive agency of the Cabinet Office, with c £1.9Bn AUM (2022). I led the team creating, driving and delivering the Government Estate Strategy for Civil Estate offices across London. Over the decade to 2030, we will radically transform the London office portfolio, investing c £2.0Bn to unlock c £5.0Bn of NPV benefit. My earlier career includes "Footprint" ( / Estate ) Strategy Lead for two key portfolios at Capita, covering over 3,000 properties nationally, unlocking value and releasing land for housing. Prior to this, I spent over 10 years as Asset Management Director at Land Securities / TeleReal Trillium, transforming our BBC and DVLA client portfolios. I previously held senior consultancy and property management positions with KPMG, Coopers & Lybrand and Knight Frank & Rutley. Leveraging my diverse public and private sector experience across the entire asset lifecycle, I align investment opportunities to the wider corporate strategy, across large UK-wide and international portfolios. Security-Cleared (SC), I have a particular passion for all areas of PropTech and am recognised by my peers as a NetZero champion. Across all these roles, I have a proven track record in leading strategic deal-making to maximise estate value, transform commercial property portfolios and deliver high quality asset-level plans. Working up to board level, I form trusted stakeholder relationships to successfully counsel them through the change process. I am a resilient leader who builds, coaches and mentors teams with integrity and kindness. With other leadership roles as President of the Cambridge University Land Society (2012-2014), Chairman of its Commercial Forum and founder-member of the Cambridge Land Economy Advisory Board (both since 2009), I work with others to provide thought-leadership and CPD events, and support students and young professionals. I gain enormous satisfaction in being able to guide colleagues through their growth and development journey.
