My name is Rodolfo Perissé and I’m a Portuguese-Brazilian 2d artist currently living in Germany. I was born in Rio de Janeiro and I’ve also lived in Spain. For years, I worked as an Art Director for a studio that had Netflix, Cartoon Network, and other big clients in its portfolio. I was responsible for define and/or follow the style of the shows; communicate with other teams and the project director; manage the Art Team, guiding the artists in their tasks; develop from Layouts to Backgrounds, going through Style Guides and Colorkeys; manage teams of 7 to 12 artists. Before that, I worked in advertising studios and I had the pleasure, in one of them, of working on Blizzard's Diablo III as an illustrator. Nowadays, I work for a game studio, where I’m responsible for all visual aspects of the project we’re developing. This includes concept arts, illustrations, UI design, supervision of outsourcing companies and freelancers for 3d modeling and animations, as well as directing the films we produce for our product (for which I also write the scripts). I have expertise as a Background Artist, Concept Artist, Character Designer, Colorkey, 2d Animator, and Animatics creator, which makes me a 2d Artist in general. Besides my digital painting and animation skills, I also love to make watercolors, oil paintings, and graphite and charcoal drawings in my free time. I speak Portuguese, English, Spanish, a little bit of French, and I’m currently learning German.
