Rod was responsible for the Cathay Pacific Airways account, where he worked closely with Cathay Management to provide sales and solutions with SMS consultancy services that matched customer needs. Rod led the planning and development of account opportunities by understanding Cathay technology drivers and business domain platforms and the impacts arising from their IM organisational change.

Rod was responsible for building the Business Performance Improvement Practice in Asia, identifying and developing talent   predominantly from the APAC community, allowing SMS to provide industry leading advice and business services that generated better business outcomes for their clients in Hong Kong and Singapore.
Initiated and worked on the establishment of the IIBA Chapter in Hong Kong. 

Rod also lead and managed the BHP BiIlliton MinEx account in Singapore and was heavily involved in establishing the Business Analysis Framework to facilitate and standardise analysis of emerging and in-flight business initiatives, business benefits and organisational impacts. During this period of 6+ months, Rod built the Singapore business to a team of 25 full time billing Consultants.

Working as the Service Transition Manager on the NWOW Programme at Cathay Pacific Airways, rolling out an ITIL modeled programme of work for an unified email system, communications, storage & user desktop.  I was responsible for developing the Support Model and co-ordination of all Release Management activities for the deployment of  MS-Outlook application and associated software/infrastructure changes to Cathay Pacific users in Hong Kong SAR and all outlying ports.
