They say, if you can love your career and enjoy waking up each morning to go to the office, then it will never feel like work. This is how I have always felt in the Online Media Industry and continue to feel that way on a daily basis. I began my online career in 2003, working for Shell Geostar in South Africa, then moved as a process manager to Trafficmac (Operative) in London to run their Hemscott, VNU and Tesco Accounts, A year later I moved to BLM Quantum in London, to become traffic manager for the likes of MBNA, Haven Holidays, T-Mobile, Setanta Sports - Focusing on DFA trafficking and becoming Doubleclick Motif Specialist. In 2007 I joined Doubleclick Motif Team, working on technical builds, most of which were used on MSN Messenger ad types. The team was soon enveloped by into the Doubleclick Rich Media Team, which focused on DFA campaign management, troubleshooting and managing client expectations in the Rich Media Sphere. I handled clients like Diet Coke, Vodafone and Nike. In 2009 I moved to the new YouTube Family, and ran the UK Display market, specializing in Homepage Masthead Adverts. Over the next 6 years, I was instrumental in launching the Israel, Ireland, Belgium, Switzerland, Kenya, Egypt, South Africa and Hungarian markets for YouTube display. in 2012 I was instrumental of the establishment of Trafficking and Reporting teams. These teams developed into the global teams which provide assistance to YouTube still In 2015 I took over the daily management of the YouTube global reporting team and was responsible, to sales teams from around the world to build new and improved reporting templates and troubleshoot on reporting issues. In 2017 I returned to South Africa after 15 years in Europe, and joined Africa's Largest Telco, Vodacom as a Video Platform Manager. During this time I was responsible for building tv2go.co.za, a new OTT Platform which bringing digital quality online TV to SA In May 2019, joined Afribet South Africa and Afribet Nigeria as a freelancer, working on their Search, Sports Blogging and Social Media Accounts. In 2022 I joined the DAC Group working on the SEM Side of State Farm Insurance.
