Rogier built the Design & UX organization out of nothing and across four locations in Switzerland and North America. Rogier also connected the design effort with marketing, software development, and R&D by working closely together with all other executives.

Rogier also built extensive relationships with the corporation's most important customers in the real estate industry: Olympic Games, global development corporations, large investors, VVIP architects, and governments. At Arup, Rogier demonstrated that global executive leadership and customer-facing activities go together well. For some of Arup's most important clients in the real estate industry, Rogier became a trusted advisor and interface to unlock the full potential of Arup in projects such as Canton Tower (the world's largest tower), Sheikh Zayed Bridge in Abu Dhabi or the YAS F1 circuit and hotel, also in Abu Dhabi.
