Quality Control Specialist

The Clever Factory Inc.

	Overview Production planning on factories in India to make sure production remains on schedule.
	Train and check factories to meet TCF product quality standards.
	Solve problem with factories and TCF-HK merchandising team on sampling stage and during mass production.
	Arrange Inline and mass production inspection.
	Assist TCF-HK sourcing team in sourcing new suppliers.
	Do primary Price negotiation with the vendors.

QUALITY:
	Act as liaison between the BU s and the vendors
	IN CHARGE OF QUALITY: This includes proceeding with on-site inline+ final inspection.
	Coordinate with factories rework and re-inspection of rejected lots.
	Conduct onsite assessment of production and material status to assists merchandisers in making required follow-ups needed to make shipments on time. Interface between overseas team/Shipping team to alert on delays.
	Identify problems in early stage of the production process and provide solutions.
	Provide technical assistance to the factories to improve the general quality level
	Work on capacity audit/ Alert team proactively + immediately if any problem in vendor internal management/quality/capacity/competitor approach/order handling is sensed during visit to vendors.
SOURCING: 
	IN CHARGE OF SOURCING: - This include/ Vendor identification/ benchmarking/ sourcing trip/ vendor evaluation/ Participate in fairs(in India, Srilanka, Myanmar and other )
	Negotiate price/MOQ/Lead time/Payment term with vendors
	Make sure prices offered to customers are accurate, inquiries responded timely and in a professional manner; to meet commitments to internal and external customers.
	Liaise with BU sourcing controllers to identify potential to improve margins (e.g. price negotiation, changing existing vendors, changing specifications, etc.)
	Reporting management all information and market trends, competitors activities and news that may affect the business of the company through product highlight/ new product information sheet
	Give inputs to PD on preferred vendors to consult for new product development. Understanding the customer needs and offer adequate proposal and alternative products if need. 
POM: 
	Track vendor performance based on pre-defined KPI and vendor scorecard with Manager, Identify and define preferred vendor in the database and update their status based on their most recent performance.

Quality Assurance Specialist

	Analysing quality and production of work wears (i.e. bib trouser, trouser, shirts, boiler suits etc.)
	Overlooking Sample evaluation and Quality control of new products launched.
	Getting garments job-worked.
	Working with pattern makers and designers to develop new and better fits to be used in each order.
	Inspecting all the incoming materials (i.e. fabric, trims and accessories etc.)
