My name is Rohit, which signifies the redness of the first ray of the morning sun, and I am a seasoned Product Manager. While I didn't start my career with this title, I have been deeply involved in product creation from its inception to launch and execution. My expertise primarily lies in service-based or digital products, which have always been shaped by extensive user feedback, iterative improvements, and adaptation to evolving needs. For the past decade, I have dedicated my efforts to crafting products tailored for the hospitality industry, guided by the motto "heads in comfortable beds." In this role, I play a pivotal part in shaping product vision, defining comprehensive roadmaps, and collaborating closely with stakeholders to develop innovative solutions spanning various domains. I take ownership of the entire product lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery of complex technical solutions across multiple systems. Additionally, I remain vigilant of industry trends and competitor capabilities to inform product roadmap decisions. Beyond my product management responsibilities, I also serve as a leader within my organization, overseeing the management and development of my team members. This includes recruitment, performance evaluation, coaching, and fostering career growth opportunities. On a separate note, I serve as the chair of the Diversity Advisory Group, known as the Noodle Group, at Choice Hotels International. This group spearheads ideation initiatives aimed at fostering diversity and inclusion within the organization. Additionally, I lead the Capstone projects at Choice, collaborating with institutions such as ASU and NAU to provide students with invaluable industry experience.
