Rory has over 20 years’ experience in corporate design and branding, as both a creative director and also as a UI and UX front end designer.

Rory is the first point of contact and lead designer for all Tucker Creative West Australian projects.

His role includes:

Brand, web, digital, print and signage design and project management
Investigating and building client prospect lists
Industry and market research
P/L Projections and reporting
Account management
Meeting and greeting 
Provide technical support to director

In his previous creative director role, Rory project managed the Visual, UX and UI design for all web projects as well as the production and analysis of the website builds. Rory took the lead role on all branding and marketing projects where his strength in art direction and his experience in account management generated many fruitful and long lasting partnerships.

Aiding his production management deliverable, Rory has many, trusted supplier contacts in China, Hong Kong and The Philippines, along with his many local Australian suppliers.

Rory believes that sound strategy combined with stunning execution is the key to effective advertising and brand management. He brings a keen, creative eye, an ‘outside the box’ thought process and a results-focused dynamic to the Tucker Creative team.

Project and studio work flow management
Design of pitch and ongoing marketing artwork for large property development and corporate companies
Working under pressure to meet tight pitch and contract deadlines
Provides creative / technical support and advice to owner in regards to web, digital and print projects
Production of creative pitch and strategic marketing response proposals
Presentation of website wireframes, television storyboards and radio scripts in marketing proposals
Market research i.e., Survey Monkey, social media etc
Provide print and signage solutions / support from my supplier contacts
Provide technical support to creative director, account manager and owner

Contributed to 2 separate marketing pitches under high-pressure deadlines
Refreshed skills in video and animation output
Obtained high-end advertising firm experience
Continue to provide work on a casual basis as required

Senior Designer

Swish Design

Rory oversees the design team at Swish Design (www.swishdesign.com.au). He is responsible for building and managing the vision of Swish clients and establishing that vision across those client's web / digital, and physical print / signage marketing mediums.

Rory's responsibilities include the training and mentoring of developing Swish Design graphic artists staff in all disciplines of branding, client project management, design team performance reporting and web design UX and UI management support.

Rory is currently expanding his digital knowledge capabilities through the study of social media cross promotion techniques, Website A/B testing, blog writing and evolving marketing techniques for the tech age.
