As a single mother, I was a non traditional college student. I wanted to be a teacher. After working in the field for a few years, I realized that it was not my passion. I have always enjoyed fitness, dancing, staying active, so it made sense to go in that direction. I love to help people create a healthy life for themselves. Whether it is through group exercise classes or overall wellness living, I listen to them and help them reach their goals. I have been a Zumba instructor for 10years, Everyone that comes to my class can expect to have a great workout, lots of smiles and fun routines. I have had the pleasure of teaching group fitness classes to a diverse group of participants. All, have taught me to stay flexible in my teaching strategies and also be adaptable to everyones individual needs. I also have a passion for educating people about the dangers of toxic chemicals found in common household products and personal care items, the importance of self-care and also getting the proper nutrition that supports their goals. I love to challenge myself, and I am constantly learning something new to continue my professional development. Most of all, I invest my heart in what I do, because it is how I live, my personal experiences helps me relate to the people I meet and want to help. I just like to be real and personable, without sacrificing my privacy. I just share about myself so people can get to know me, I do that a lot in the content I create. I feel getting to know others and understanding their need helps me serve them better. You have to care about people and want to help them.
