Fundraising & Communications Manager

Caudwell LymeCo is a small charity that raises money to fund desperately needed research into Lyme disease. We also educate the public on Lyme disease prevention and awareness.

As manager of the charity's fundraising activity, my duties include:
- Leading fundraising activities through multiple channels

As Fundraising Executive: Individual Giving & Campaigns, my role was to design and deliver effective fundraising plans to support the aims and targets of the Fundraising Strategy and the theatre’s broader strategic plan.

Main duties included:
•	Contributing to and supporting the delivery of a compelling fundraising strategy. 
•	Managing the theatre's donation schemes, individual giving opportunities and memberships
•	Designing & delivering compelling individual giving campaigns
•	Identifying, engaging, cultivating and stewarding major donors and legators
•	Coordinating and delivering a Fundraising Events programme
•	Developing reporting on campaigns and Individual Giving
•	Copywriting, website editing and creating other digital and hard communications materials 
•	Progressing use of the theatre's IT system for data analyzing, reporting and donor relationships

Fundraising Executive - Individual Giving

Duties included:

•  Providing coordination and administrative support to the Development Team at Birmingham Hippodrome theatre. 
•  Helping to plan and run fundraising events and campaigns
•  Building, servicing and developing corporate relationships and partnerships
•  Helping to deliver the existing supporter schemes and opportunities for individual donors, from prospecting through to stewardship
•  Undertaking research to identify potential corporate and individual supporters
•  Coordinating and delivering hard copy and digital media communications on behalf of the team
•  Undertaking research for and assisting in the creation of funding applications to other trusts and foundations.

Creating a regular e-newsletter of arts jobs, opportunities, training and events for local artists and performers.

Undertaking research on local services as part of a project promoting community cohesion for newly-arrived asylum seekers and refugees and working as part of a team to launch a Welcome to Walsall website. I was responsible for loading the information found on research to the page and keeping it updated.

Providing research and working with Arts Nation on an Arts Council-funded project to increase audience engagement with the arts in the Walsall area.
