Growth – real growth – is challenging. It could mean a productive quarter, a merger, a new hire; but the growth that I value most is not always quantified by a number. To nurture and encourage growth of people, the beating heart of any organization, is my passion. Within every successful company, you will find motivated, educated, and skilled individuals who have embraced growth as the key tenant of their success. My passion is to foster growth at the foundation of a business – its people. This is where I shine. Where I succeed, everyone succeeds. Just as an orchestra conductor guides each musician to harmonize, I orchestrate the growth and development of individuals within organizations, trusting in their expertise and nurturing their talents to ensure that every part works together in perfect synergy. Whether I’m tasked with the expansion of an organization of three individuals or nearly a hundred thousand strong, there will always be opportunity for progress. Under my guidance, Veritas Technologies grew from only a few dozen employees to well over 6,000 with utmost focus on customer adoption and retention. I created a universal education system for our internal sales teams to better sell our products, which in turn created trusting and meaningful relationships with our customers. At HP, I centralized five training programs into one company-wide team to create a more cohesive and consistently high-quality customer experience, with over $5 million saved on operation costs. And, with the addition of partner education, NetApp benefited from the development of a company-wide compliance and training program, seeing a significant decrease in customer turnover by once again prioritizing the relationship between our sales teams and our customers. While highlighting these achievements may bolster my position, true organizational success hinges on inclusive education, robust strategies, and, most crucially, unwavering support for its people. Underestimating any employee is a risk – investing in them, however, is a guarantee. With the right investment, care, and time invested into each employee at the most innate level of educational growth, the organization they work for innately and naturally flourishes.
